Voting:
Voting will take place during the entirety of the season from Saturday, September 30 – Sunday, October 30. Visitors to the patch will be able to vote each time they visit. The winning team, announced at the close of the season, will be given a check to present to their designated non-profit plus earn exclusive bragging rights… until next season!

Entry:
- Find your team. Teams can consist of any number of people representing a business, organization, team, or nothing at all! Non-profits can have their own teams and designate themselves as their charity!
- Designate what local non-profit you are competing for. The non-profit must be designated at the start of the contest, must serve the Linn County area (service can extend beyond the Linn County area as well) and must be a 501(c)(3).
- Complete the entry form below. You will need to identify your Team Name, Team Captain with contact information, and designated local charity. Forms must be submitted by Friday, September 15. There is no entry fee.
- Gather your supplies! Uptown Farms will supply you with one hay bale. You are required to provide any other materials you need to decorate your hay bale.
- Get your “Hay Bale” on – Teams are encouraged to decorate hay bales on opening weekend, Saturday, September 30 – Sunday, October 1, from noon to 5 p.m. However, Teams may also work during the week following opening weekend. All decorating must be completed by Friday, October 6. All decorations must be family friendly, non-political, done in good faith and not intended to be offensive. Teams can promote their local charity. Team names, including names of of local business, can be used in the decoration but should not be the focus of the design.
