Dorpers and White Dorpers will have separate classes at Missouri State Fair starting in 2024!  The breeders in Missouri are excited to invite our fellow producers to join us in Sedalia this August!

Entry Information

• Due: July 8 by 5 p.m. (no late entries this year)

• Note on Dorper/White Dorper Splits:  You will enter all sheep as “DORPER” entries.  At check-in, the Missouri State Fair staff will assist in getting animals split into Dorper and White Dorper splits.  This is tentative process while we work to build numbers in each of the divisions and appreciate your patience during that time.

 
Health Paper Requirements

• All sheep must have health papers (CVI)
• Out of state rams over 6 months need negative B-Ovis test
• Rules and Information on Health Papers

3:30 p.m. Youth Sheep Judging Contest in Sheep Barn *Connect with Kate if you have youth that want to participate on a team. We will help them find ones!

Monday, August 12

Tuesday August 13
1 p.m. Dorper/ White Dorper Show  
4 p.m.  Dorper/White Dorper Breed Meeting (or immediately following shows)
