Our buying process explained:
Please, email, call or text Kate to discuss available pups. Once you have decided to secure a puppy, you will be put on the list and guaranteed the sex of your choice. A 50% deposit is required within 5 business days to hold your spot.
Once pups are close to 8 weeks, we start to sort puppies into which homes they will go to. Pyrenees have a range of personalities from very social to very reserved. Very reserved dogs (never aggressive, but reserved) tend to be much more serious livestock guardians, rarely, if ever, leaving their stock. These dogs would become frustrated and agitated if placed in homes without livestock. Extremely social dogs thrive on human companionship and often do best on smaller acreage, with owners who want a companion and general farm dog or general livestock guardian dog.
The ultimate dog you end up with is a result of his breeding, natural personality, and the environment he goes to at his new farm. The first two months at home are critical in teaching a dog what he should bond to (the family or the livestock) and teaching him how social is acceptable on your farm.
Most of our dogs are bred to be in the middle, but some litters will lean more one way or another. This is why we do not just allow you to pick a pup, and instead sort pups into their homes. Please contact us at 660-541-0468 for more information.
The remaining payment for puppy is due at time of pickup or delivery.
